Obedience Training
Obedience training is good for any dog at any age, for It teaches them good manners at home and in public. It also teaches them needed socialation skills with guests in your home, or with other people and dogs in public areas.
Training also helps your dog develop better focusing abilities, and develops a foundation for achieving success with impulse control and basic commands. If they tend to be shy, fearful or anxious, obedience training also helps your pet develop much-needed confidence.

Leash training helps you and your dog enjoy stress free walks. A big plus is it can help set up a good line of communication between you and your dog too.
Even if your plan is to keep your dog at home and limited to a fenced yard, leash training is important for many counties have leash laws requiring them when your dog is off your property. It's then best for your peace of mind and your dog's to prepare for trips needed to the vet, the groomer, for family vacations... any time your dog might need to be leashed.
An extra bonus to successful leash training is it also prepares your dog for success with a more compliant nature too.

Behavior Modification
Behavior modification is a more intensive program that addresses a wide-range of issues negatively affecting you and your dog. It can be anything from excessively licking it's paws, to dangerous aggressive behavior.
I work with you to design a program that will better help you and your dog deal with confusion, insecurities, fears or anxiety so it can integrate well into your lifestyle or family, and respond well to your friends and guests.
Once your dog is responding well to training, I will also show you how to maintain and continue to enjoy your dog's improvement.
$65 per hour
